Devlish

English-First Business Rules

AI-First Programming Language

Research

Devlish is a programming language built on a simple premise: business rules should be readable by the people they govern. It uses a structured subset of English to express compliance logic, deal terms, and validation rules that any stakeholder can read and verify.

In tax credit transactions, the rules are complex and the stakes are high. Devlish makes it possible for attorneys, CPAs, and compliance officers to directly inspect the logic that determines whether a credit qualifies, what documentation is required, and how exceptions are handled -- without needing a developer to translate.

Key Capabilities

Readable Rules
Business logic expressed in structured English that non-technical stakeholders can read, understand, and validate directly.
AI-First Design
Built for a world where AI generates, modifies, and explains rules. The language is optimized for both human comprehension and machine manipulation.
Compliance Logic
Express IRS requirements, eligibility criteria, and deal terms as executable rules that can be tested, versioned, and audited.
